Is mute supposed to send "Sound Off" message?

I was jamming and i noticed something weird.

While i was muting and unmuting tracks on my Syntakt - with my Hapax in mute mode - I noticed that it was resetting the sequencer on the Syntakt some how.

I paused the sequencer from the Hapax and messed with the mutes a little and noticed that occasionally it would send a “sound off” message. The same message that is sent when i press stop on the Hapax.

Doesnt happen all the time and happens kinda randomly. I was trying to recreate it reliably but couldn’t.

I even noticed that it sent a PC when i hit the mute button. That kinda makes sense but even so, its displaying the wrong PC number.

Is this a bug? is it supposed to send those messages? Its never done it before.
