Greetings all! This is my first post. I’m hoping this helps as I was unable to find any Definition file for the original TR-8 drum machine for Hapax, only the (S) model definition.
I kept getting ‘SYNTAX ERROR LINE 23’. I tried every one of the options from Null to all the numbers given, and the error persisted, so I simply removed the entire section and it worked. This Definition file is not including the 3 toms. I am considering making 2 new files, splitting one of just the Kick, Snare, Clap, Open/Closed Hats, and Ride, and then using the second file to house the toms, crash, and extra percussion line.
So far it seems to work pretty well! Again, hope this helps someone in the future!
