I read so much till now…, and my head hurts…Everytime I think…ah …I have it…, the next minute I understand nothing…
On all the lists or examples,are’so much possibilities…, I go crazy…
I really love my hapax and I want to use it…
Please…please can somebody help me??!
As far as I know, all of the 1010music instruments have a midi learn function, so no preconfigured midi Cc’s you could use for an instrument definition file. And regarding understanding the instrument definitions in general, maybe start learning about midi cc messages, usually synthesizer manuals are a good start, they tend to have a section on their midi implementation. Then go back to the hapax manual regarding the id files and things will start to make more sense…
You could make and share a definition for the 1010music stuff so that the hapax side of things is set up and all you need to do is get the bluebox, blackbox, etc learn what is already set up.
There’s little use in making a definition file that contains more than the midi channel because those instruments are very “free” in how you assign things.
Every user will have different assignments. Hell, every project or patch can have different assignments.
Start with the midi channel, then decide on how you want to use it.
