Imported Midi-Files and CC

Hello all users,

I just created some patterns in Ableton Live and imported them as Midi-Files. They obviously contain CC-data, I didn’t intend to get. And I don’t know why. The Pyramid shows CC-Data in the display of the certain track. How can I delete this data inside the pyramid?

Howdy!

Go into STEP mode. Hold STEP and turn main encoder to enter CC MESSAGES mode.
You can now scroll thru you CC messages with the main encoder.
Tip: In stepmode NOTE or CC MESSAGES , press STEP to go to the nearest note or CC automation. Press STEP again to go to the next nearest note or CC automation.
Tip2: In stepmode NOTE or CC MESSAGES , press 2ND + STEP to activate the filter, in order to scroll only through programmed notes or CC messages. Press 2ND + STEP again to quit the filter.

Now to actually delete, you can simply press on the pads that are lit, or…
Press 2ND + delete to delete all events contained in the 16 steps of the current page.

You can squeeze all the data on to one screen (16 pads) if you play with the track zoom level.
While still in STEP mode, hold TRACK + ZOOM LEVEL + TURN MAIN ENCODER (or TRACK + ZOOM LEVEL + PADS).

Hope this helps

Thank you so much, joosep. Even I didn’t get it all in detail yet, it helped! Great.
