i always had a use for this on my mpcs.
Can you elaborate, what exactly do you mean? Which events do you want to see in a list? Don’t you think that list will become very long very quickly, especially when using automation?
sure but theres most likely a time stamp display telling you where you are in the list. also there would be a view filter. im not always using the list editor in my mpc but im very happy its there because sometimes its the best tool for the job.
i dont think hapax is missing one but i cant lie, i might use it if added
That’s actually the only thing i like to do with my mpc these days!!
Surgically put program changes and midi events in a list is awsome ![]()
Yes this is a very goid idea!
+1
I remember requesting a similar thing for the Pyramid years ago.
I remember 2 of my previous sequencers had this. The Alesis MMT-8 and the Akai ASQ-10. It was very convenient to do microscoping editing of events.
Would most definitely use it if it were implemented.
how did you get on with asq10?
I didn’t ![]()
Loved the MMT-8 though. But can’t go back there ![]()
no those arent in good shape these days
but they were great catchers of midi developed elsewhere with tactical deployment capability, very touchable sequencer! probably a good place to bounce stuff developed on hapax
I’m not here to tempted you but you know about Retrokits rk-008 right?
Apparently he has now also put a list editor in the machine.
I almost got one just to use as a fast midi looper. But then i got this instead ![]()

i did buy one! brilliant machine but way too small for my eyes. i do keep their rk-006 around tho!
