I love hapax midi fx

slapping an arp and euclid on as fx really hits the spot on bass lines that are in need of spice!

it depends on the feel of the element i guess. i tend to like the odd rates in the arp and euclid is anywhere, all over the place. but generally 6th notes show up in my bass lines a lot. it definitely allows you to correct timing and add that pop and lock feel like an awesome robot! i wish there were more divisions of the tempo available. when they put more in there this will be supercharged! i love messing around in the automation screen with parameters of the midi fx. i appreciate the deep levels you can take this to. you can acceptably animate an otherwise dull sound, or reach evey last bit of creative potential of your sound source! it gets a little complicated sometimes but i can go there outside of the computer. with only midi. hapax gives ordinary synths new life and personality potentially that is. you still gotta ‘do it right’.im still not using everything. i can add my controllers in the midi modulation matrix and have not done that yet. i love that I can capture the midi stream in my daw before its only audio so can adjust expressive stuff and edit then render to audio, mix and bobs your uncle
