No matter what velocity level I set the notes I sequence on Hapax, the volume is always the same unless I turn the parameter all the way to 0. So my synth has no dynamics at all. Has to be a setting I am missing here, does anyone know?
does your synth patch include velocity as a modulation source for anything? otherwise it wont do anything
That may be close to the issue. I have velocity to VCA set to 127 in the mod matrix (prophet rev2) but its still the same volume. Has to be a setting im missing on the synth.
so, not sure if its the same on the prophet, but on the tempest the amp env amount is the absolute minimum the intensity can be and then velocity is added, so if the env amount is 127 the velocity wouldnt do anything.
Appreciate the help, its definitely on the synth programming end because im easily dialing in velocity to my drum machine
well the manual says its basically the same as on the tempest….env amount has to be lower than velocity amount. Env amount is the minimum intensity, velocity amount is added on top.

Ok thats what ill try today. Rev2 is complex so its good for me to really master how the envelopes work.
