I Don't Get Ratchet

Howdy all! Loving the Hermod so far, but I can’t seem to get the ratchet effect to do anything.

Whether I put it on a single note in a mostly blank track, a full track, first, last, whatever, it doesn’t seem to do anything. Is this modulating something? Is it just retriggering gate?

Help please!

it works like the euclidean fx, it applies to long gates. just put a long note and apply ratchet
