How to output a constant note CV without the click/pop at the end of the bar

At the moment I’m trying to use my Hermod+ (OS 2.10) to calibrate an analog oscillator, but I’ve run into this when just making music as well.

When I have a track which is just a single sequence with a single 1-bar note (the entire length of the track), there is a momentary jump in the CV at the beginning/end of the bar. I tried using the glide effect to smooth this out, but regardless of the glide time I set, the loop boundary is still audible– basically the CV drops and you get a pop, or if you have the glide effect on, the note goes flat for an instant.

Is there a solution for this? I love the Hermod+ btw, and thank you for reading  I can upload a video of this if it would help.

I can’t speak for whether the H+ has a workaround for this, but if you are using a gate to open and close the VCA it might be tricky. If you are using the gate to trigger an external envelope (or, come to think of it, the internal envelope effect on a mod channel, or via an XP32 output), you could play with the release and retrigger settings to keep the VCA open for that 1-2 ms gap.

hey thanks for the reply! I was talking about just the CV output, no gate involved.
