Hey guys, i emailed squarp which they are amaing with customer service but curious here if anyone runs their hermod+ on 12v rails only? If you do this compared to recommended 5v is there any cons? Reason i ask is because i am getting a new module that requires between 500-850ma and i wont have enough to support it on my 7u intellijel case. Thanks guys
yeah I am using the tiptop uzeus for all my power which only has 170mA at +5V, so I am running Hermod+ on the 12v rail(s). Haven’t noticed any issues.
Thanks for getting back to me. Ill be flipping the switch in it today as i got another module being delivered that requires 850ma on the 5v rail. Thanks for letting me know.
