hermod+OS 2.00 - new firmware

Hey everyone !

We’re excited to announce the release of version 2.00 of Hermod+Os !

It comes with some exciting new features, most notably the introduction of internal modulation!
Each track now has 4 MOD lanes, which can each be step-sequenced and routed to the modmatrix, making FX automation a breeze

Just hold the STEP button while in STEP mode, and you’ll be able to select what you’re editing:

Have fun

This is great and enables parameter locking in a fresh new way. Congrats!

Thx for the update ! Looks really great Will update tomorrow and look forward to try the new features

Very cool, thank you very much! But I’m sorry to say that I still miss the ability to play a track with an external keyboard or midi device while it’s muted, as was possible with the older Hermod. This is a real “live show stopper” for me (and for many others, as you can see in the whishlist).

I agree with Marf - I was excited to see a change to the Mute function in V2.00 and assumed this would be the much requested feature to be able to pass a keyboard through a muted track for performance purposes. I confess I don’t understand the new Global level vs Pattern level mute option. Can anyone explain this to me?

Can we now copy and paste tracks between sequences?

This is the exact same problem I have. Not being able to mute just the pattern (without also muting the input) makes it super difficult to improvise with the Hermod+ during live performances, because I constantly have to delete and recreate patterns since I can’t mute just the pattern.

I’ve tried to think of workarounds, but I haven’t yet come up with anything workable. This impacts me every time I use Hermod+.

I think this lets you mute a track so that when you switch patterns, the track stays muted, regardless of the mute state of the track in the pattern you’re switching to.
