Hermod+OS 2.00 BETA A - public beta firmware

Hey everyone!

Today we’re releasing a public BETA firmware for the upcoming 2.00 release of hermod+OS.

It comes with some exciting new features, most notably the introduction of internal modulation!
Each track now has 4 MOD lanes, which can each be step-sequenced and routed to the modmatrix, making FX automation a breeze

Just hold the STEP button while in STEP mode, and you’ll be able to select what you’re editing:

Have fun

Word of caution !

As noted by members of the community, it is recommended to make a backup of your projects before upgrading to this beta, as older firmware versions won’t be able to open project created with beta versions.

How to join

This is an open beta. Just hop on to the beta website to get it!
The updated manual is available as well.

How to send feedback

For all feedback, please send an email to beta@squarp.net
Please note we will not consider any feature request at this stage. Bug reports, small suggestions and general feedback is welcome. For all bugs, please provide a clear step by step procedure to reproduce it, so that we can fix it more easily.

Cheers,
Thibault

aaaahyeeeahah!!!
looking forward to testing it!
Thanks 3000!

I don’t own an Hermod+ but I’m curious about the new Modulators.
They are step based, so basically little sequencers ? Can you reset them (restart from step 1) ?
(We need this for Hapax !)

Wow, fantastic update! Really looking forward to try it out!

A question: Have they added ”mute” to the destinations in the modmatrix? For example ”Ratchet > Mute”. That would finally make it possible to control which steps are affected by the effect. (This is possible on the Pyramid.)

hi, for the moment I use a mod line to change the rate. But I have to put my automation one step before the one I want modify.
Same thing for others FX.
