I am trying to send midi from my hermod+ to my lzx tbc2. With a trs cable i dont seem to be getting any response from the tbc2. In earlier testing i accidentally used a ts cable and the tbc2 was responding to midi messages (sporadically and incorrectly). I have the channel set correctly and the am sending the correct midi cc values. Does anyone have any idea why this is not working?
sorry cannot help, but have similar issue with aBitbox micro not reacting to Midi data (clock and note data) despite having Midi channel matched . Tried with different settings (control channel) to no avail. I sync hermod + with analog clock from Pams and want Hemrod to send clock Midi data to batboy via Midi out for which I use a TRS cable.
I got my midi out issue fixed and culprit was me using was using a wrong midi adapter on one end After using two compatible adaptor iit worked like a charm and has been stable I sync and control my Bitbox via Midi (clock) fro Hermod+ while it is synced to Pam with analog Clock. Make also sure you have set the correct output channel for the selected channel in the Midi OUT menu (press and hold track buttons to access menu)
