My Hermod+ keeps telling me “No more FX slots”, I am using the XP32 with x3 midi tracks and x2 analogue tracks.
Im only using four tracks on the hermod+.
I only have swing and Scale on every track being used and have no more than 4 FX on four other tracks, I have had to delete all fx slots from tracks not being used,
I should be able to use 128 fx slots in total I cant even get close to half that.
please help!
Same issue here with me. Pretty much all previous tracks made before I got the XP-32 will not function due to this.
Did you get any answers or find any solution. .
Damn shame as the XP-32 was meant to be an expande4 but all it’s done so far is hold back my productions.
I use CV and midi. I’ve sen people saying turn off midi on those dp-32 tracks
due to processing power but that totally defeats the objective.

It is highly strange that only two people are experiencing this problem.
Im wondering if there is a batch or units that have a lower specification memory IC.
To answer your question I did get a reply on a private message, and they said it was just the limitation of the hardware memory, so with the SP32 being added it just did not have enough available memory to populate the FX slots required for my projects.
They additionally added that "“Each track can have up to 8 slots” as stated in the manual is a bit misleading as the the 8 slots per channel X 16 is a bit optimistic with the total memory installed.
I only use three channels for midi and have all other midi channels disabled on the rest of the tracks.
I did manage to get a few extra FX slots by formatting my SD card with the SD Card formatter(from SDcard site), then I copied my projects back to the card then installed 3.0 .
This did get me about 10 more FX slots, But I do not have enough to create the variation I would like and have already run out of slots.
Im attempting to be stoic about the situation, but when I add up the cost of the Hermod+ and XP32 (and I have x2 Hermods+ one in a travel case and one in a static rack) I am quit pissed off by the hardware limitations, I have used or have, nearly all sequences in and out of the Eurorack case and have never had any limitations in this modern age of making electronic music, the Elektron boxes especially the Octotrack are limited but there is always a work around, I cannot find a workaround to get more FX slots.
It is a real shame as I really like the Hermod+ and do not want to have to use an out of the rack sequencer.
I think they should do a full product recall and put a decent sized memory IC on it,
