This is both a question and perhaps a feature request. This is pertaining to the Note to CC effect.

I like using Modulation to control other components but there are modules and instances where I’d like to quickly set up basic settings automatically. MIDI CC is great for this if the module supports it.

I have the Rample and Oxi Coral and both could leverage such a feature.

Currently the Note to CC feature allows you to set a FIXED Destination CC and a Dynamic CC Value determined by either Velocity or Note Value.

Being able to set dynamic CC Destination along with the existing Dynamic CC Value feature would enable quick changes to settings both on the Rample and Oxi Coral that are not possible using modulation/CV. Performing a sequence could be made much easier.

I believe I have found a solution.

In order to achieve Dynamic CC Destination one must use modulation coming into one of the inputs. Then use the MOD Matrix to modulate the CC Destination field.

This works but seems wasteful to me. It would be much easier to use Note Value for CC Destination and Note Velocity for CC Value as demonstrated in my graphic above.
