I have two questions regarding the Hermod (original) and the four CV inputs, A, B, C, and D.
- can one use these to sync the Hermod with a drum machine that outputs a trigger? I think in particular of the Roland TR8S. (Alternatively if one syncs the Roland to the Hermod via MIDI, is there a lag?)
- Can one self-patch the Hermod safely, so that for instance a CV out from the sequencer could feed directly into a CV in, so that in a sequence you could programmatically trigger randomness via a CV high coming out of the sequencer CV? I could just try it but wanted to know if auto-patching recommended and safe for the Hermod.
