We’re releasing this new beta just a few days after beta B to address a major issue: a fix for randomly lit LEDs. Thanks to your reports, we were able to quickly identify and resolve the problem.
Check out the latest improvements to the MIDI Drum Import/Export featurehere.
As always, we appreciate your feedback and support during the beta process!
This is an open beta, you can jump in right now!
Just head over to this alternate beta website to download the update. The updated online manual is also available there.
Send all feedback to beta@squarp.net
We’re not accepting feature requests at this stage, but we welcome bug reports, small suggestions and general feedback.
For all bugs, please provide a clear step by step procedure to reproduce it, so that we can fix it more easily.
Older firmware versions won’t be able to open project created with beta versions: it is recommended to make a backup of your projects before upgrading to this beta.
Thanks for being part of shaping this firmware with us!

anyone that is on BETA 2.20 C (or B) notice any issues with sending USB Midi Out in Host mode from Hapax to another device? USB Midi In works as expected. I was testing an instrument definition that I made a while back but never posted which used to work fine via USB Midi. using the same instrument def with 5pin and TRS Midi Out (Host Mode) works as expected. i’ll test a few more machines later today but if no one else is having this issue, i’ll focus on what could be happening in this specific case. if i find the same issue when using other machines, i’ll submit a more systematic bug report. thnx
Hi @matt_positive
For the moment, we have no feedback about this issue.
If you are still experiencing it, please send us an email with a short procedure, we will try to reproduce it.
Thanks, have a nice day!
This beta seems to mess with syncing midi clocked connected devices. After a random amount of bars the clocked devices go out of sync. Reverting back to 2.13 seems to solve it.
