Hey everyone!

We’re releasing a public beta firmware, for the upcoming 2.03 release of hapaxOS.

Changes

This release fixes a number of bugs, but also introduced two features in PATTERN mode.
Firstly, you can save the stopped state of a pattern in a section, and secondly, you now have finer-grain control over the PC sending logic of the pattern.

Word of caution !

As noted by members of the community, it is recommended to make a backup of your projects before upgrading to this beta, as older firmware versions won’t be able to open project created with beta versions.

The updated manual is available as well. (PDF version is unavailable for the moment).

How do you save the stopped state of a pattern in a section?

A possible bug I reported via email:

Snapshots are not recalling the on/off status of effects as they should:

  1. I press down snapshot to make the snapshot button go green.

  2. Then I turn some effects off.

  3. When I press snapshot again, the effects “blink” as if they turned on, but they’re disabled again after this blink.

Simply create the section while the pattern is stopped
