Hey everyone,

We’re excited to announce that hapaxOS 3.10 is now available!

Building on the foundation of 3.00, this update brings highly requested creative tools to Hapax.

Key Highlights:

  • New Spring FX: A versatile new slew limiter featuring a resonant/oscillating mode.
  • Macro-Ready LFOs: Set Global LFO A or B to a static “Flat” waveform (0% to 100%) for custom modMatrix macro routing.
  • Hold REC + press/rotate any FX encoder to instantly create an FX automation lane.
  • Autom Mode: Hold a row to set Row default value for new events.

Great News

Thanks

Love My Hapax

niceee thanks Hapax team!! :fire: :fire: :fire:

Wauw so nice to see new features again, 16 drum tracks is amazing. Thanks Hapax crew.

I think the point is that the lfo becomes like a global macro knob that you can assign to anything in the project and that either rate or phase become a 0-100 scale value.

This is incredible —thank you.

Excellent news! I have requested this feature a long time ago. Looking forward to testing it tonight with my 808 and 909

Ouh yeah !!!

Keep it up Squarp, keep it up !

sooo glad to see these awesome changes! Drum tracks are a HUGE one for me!!

Only thing im waiting for:

“default track” settings so I can delete a track and have it automatically go to “4 bars” or “8 bars” with my specific settings i use almost every time on every track. Resetting tracks and then estabilishing those settings again is annoying

Re-thinking the polyphony run-around. I can’t hold down my hold pedal and play notes like i can on the Pyramid. i wish it would release the last notes rather than shutting down my ability to play more.

 Thank you Squarp Team!!!

Autom Mode: Hold a row to set Row default value for new events.

Neat. Could we maybe have a similar feature for the drum velocity view?

Thanks for the update! Could someone explain what the new spring fx does and how it’s supposed to be used? i’ve tried it with some percussive synths but couldn’t really hear a difference.

Thank you, Squarp!

Thanks a lot the team
I have made the best choice with this controler

EDIT : It seems manual links have not been updated with 3.1.

cheers

How do I address the additional drum lanes in the instrument definition? Till now it was 1-8… is it than 9-16 or 9-F (one digit hexadecimal)?

Has there been any attempt to actually un-break the use of Polyphonic Aftertouch with this device? It was briefly supported in early firmware versions, then abandoned, then promised, then crickets since… @squarpadmin
