hapaxOS 2.10 BETA B - public BETA firmware

Hey everyone!

Today we’re releasing the second public BETA firmware for the upcoming 2.10 release of hapaxOS.

This release includes a couple of bugfixes related to the LOOPER and the SHAPER effect, as well as a couple of new features.

Word of caution !

As noted by members of the community, it is recommended to make a backup of your projects before upgrading to this beta, as older firmware versions won’t be able to open project created with beta versions.

How to join

This is an open beta. Just hop on to the beta website to get it!
The updated manual is available as well.

Please note we will not consider any feature request at this stage. Bug reports, small suggestions and general feedback is welcome. For all bugs, please provide a clear step by step procedure to reproduce it, so that we can fix it more easily.

Nice, especially loving the del+step/automation shortcuts!!

I love the Mono+Legato mode of the Step-Rec mode and the shading in the Mono mode!

I think some sort of shading in a regular Poly track would be useful as well?

Thank you Squarp team! The looper works like a dream. The new delete shortcuts are fantastic.

excellent update!!! I love the looper! and the new shortcuts are super useful!
thank you so much for your effort!

Mono mode is excellent. Two small things – it’s unclear whether legato is enabled all times by default, or if it’s only if you have the Mono effect enabled with legato? The other minor thing is that I’d like it if Mono Edit was saved with the track state, that way my default template can have Mono Edit already setup for my mono synths.

The manual states " NEW! 1 BAR will set the pattern length to the closest bar while 1/16 will set the pattern length to the closest quarter note."
There’s a typo here, it should be “closest sixteenth note”, otherwise the value should be 1/4.
