How do I see the SD card to drop the new OS update file to upgrade? Do I need an external SD card reader? Or can I start the HAPAX and see the SD card from my workstation vis USB?
i remove the SD from Hapax, insert on my MacBook’s card reader, copy the new firmware .bin file, and return to Hapax. hold down the encoder on reboot until the new firmware is written

AFAIK, it has to be done by removing the SD card and inserting into your computer. Yes, you’ll need an SD reader if your computer doesn’t have one built in.
