Why,
with something with so many features,
does not have a simple step input for external keyboard controller?
Come on Squarp that can’t be a difficult fix. Not everyone likes pressing buttons for step input especially those that know the different keys and combinations, without thinking about where the keys or notes are.it is much quicker and more musical

FYI , you’ve posted in the general discussion subcategory not the hapax
Anyway, I like that feature on the Roland grooveboxes , I get by without it on the hapax , but would definitely like to see it
Agree 100%, can Squarp please add this to the Hapax? Something like Elektron’s step input mode/SH-101 style would be amazing!!
You do know that Hapax has a learn mode, where you can press a key on your midi keyboard, then just press the pad where you want that note to go. It will automatically set the pitch to the same note as the key you hit on your midi keyboard.
