Has anyone tried sending midi from Hapax to Android devices via usb? I’m wondering to try Fruity Loops or Koala Sampler in my setup.
Thank you in advance.

can you do BTLE midi? i thought android had terrible latency. but interesting if it works! is there a midi interface with android drivers? with hapaxs timing compensation, you can make anything work once midi is sorted. im definitely loving blofeld and microwave on me ipad! the times we live in are so good for music toys!
Bluetooth Low Energy or BTLE?
What do you mean?
yes btle means blue tooth low energy
does your android have bluetooth? do google searches for btle midi, maybe your device supports it? wouldnt that be cool!
Android phone user here. I’m convinced Koala Sampler is the easiest sampler on the planet right now, and I’m considering trying Koala on my Android with Hapax.
It’s been years since I tried to do anything with Android and my music gear. So any reports of success – or failure or frustation! – would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Joe
P.S. I had good luck using Koala Sampler on my iPad, triggered by Hapax. Easy to trigger audio recording, stop it, then play.
