I may come to regret this. FOR SALE: Squarp Hapax, $1000, PayPal G&S, includes shipping (CONUS). . Shown with everything you see here: Hapax, original power supply, 3 sets of knobs*, 16 GB SD card and as a freebie 6 5-foot cv cables. Hapax has been used about 75 hours give or take in a smoke-free house. It’s a professional unit, and I’m definitely a hobbyist.
* If you don’t like my knobs from DJ tech tools, you get the original knobs that came with the unit (I was an early adopter, serial number is lower than 0200), plus the replacement knobs from squarp (never used), in brown envelope under original knobs. I guess some early folks didn’t like the original knobs. Me? I always liked the feel of dj tech tools knobs. But they are easily replaced with the originals (either style).
I can give you (via DM) my reverb user name if you want to check out my feedback there. I’m trying to avoid giving reverb a cut of my sale.
$100 from current US new price for a unit you’ve used for 4 years? Have you checked used listings and price history on Reverb? Seems odd to expect someone to accept the risk of P2P sale and also list higher than usual street price lol
I feel the unit is in mint condition, so yes. This is also about the same as other used prices on Reverb. And I am paying shipping. In fact, on Reverb most are between 1050 and 1200 for used. If someone wants to make me an offer, I’m open to it.
People do list them for higher prices, but then have to lower the price, because they don’t sell for what they were asking. Hapax usually sells for between $900-$1000. Here are some screenshots of the Hapax’s recent sales history on reverb for reference. The one that did sell for $1149 was basically brand new, with only a few hours on it.
When they are out of stock everywhere, you definitely have a better chance of getting what you’re asking, but they are currently readily available at most retailers. Either way, good luck!
you might have listed it directly on reverb, as this place isnt really a market. most of us already have a hapax. you search for hapax on reverb and use their official item autocomplete and the info should be listed automatically
