Hapax and Korg SQ-1 sync

Hi,

I want to use a SQ-1 as midi to CV converter to add 2 more CV/Gate outputs to my Hapax (with 10V gate outputs).
I tried with the Hapax USB Host and an Hapax DIN output (via MioXL USB port) to send midi clock and transport to SQ-1 but it doesn’t seem to work. My settings are ok in the Hapax (transport, clock, midi channel number).
Has anyone ever tried?

I tried with Ableton Live Lite 11 and it worked. SQ-1 receive and follow midi clock and transport. It also transmit midi notes and clock to CV/Gate outputs and Sync OUT.
I wonder why it does not work with the Hapax ?

It seems there is 2 midi output ports available and other devices than DAWs choose the wrong one by default.
I will swap the SQ1 for a beatstep pro to do what I want.
