The last release although great for a lot of people I appreciate that, it wasn’t really the direction that excites me I don’t think I will ever use mpe, so I thought I’d like to start a bit more of a conversation along with the developers about what people want to see from the Hapax development.
These are my thoughts purely selfish and probably not achievable but it would be cool to start up some conversation in a respectful way about what might be achievable and what other people would like from any future development.
Wish list.
Independent length drum lanes I would prefer this to more drum lanes per track. Would be great to be able to set independent length, speed and direction.
Better options for groove import, reworking of the swing.
A reworking of the Euclidian, it would be great to have it as a full sequencer and be able to bake it down into the actual sequencer lane for editing.
I don’t want this to a vs post but a new sequencer something like matriceal mode, where note pitch and triggers are independent from themselves as well as velocity etc. not sure how this would look like does talking out loud.
Automation lanes decoupled from track length ability to set independent lengths per automation.
