Feature Request: Screen Saver/Blackout

Worried about potential for burned-in screen issues as I recently had this happen to another module.

It would be great if a setting could be added to either blackout the screen during inactivity, or add a simple animation that moves around during inactivity. This could either be a hard-coded amount of time, or user configurable. Some good examples of modules with this would be Intellijel’s Tete and Metropolix modules. Both had a little animation that comes on after a certain amount of inactivity.

Can we confirm this screen does indeed suffer any kind of burn in? If so, I’m all for getting a screensaver.

+1 here.

Every other module with a screen that I have has a screensaver / blackout mode after a period of activity.

Would make a great setting to toggle on/off.

Are you talking about Hapax? There’s no such setting in the Misc menu on Hermod+.

Could we possibly have some input from the company on this? If there is a chance the screen on Hermod+ can potentially have an issue with screen burn, is a simple screensaver timer a possibility? And if not, is there something about these OLED screens that won’t have this issue?
