I like to improvise over a drone, which requires often requires switching to the transposition track to change the root droning note, and then coming back to the track i was playing on, it would be nice not having to constantly jump between tracks
It would be nice to be able to hold the track 16 button to display its grid mode while the button is held, and then revert back to the previous track when it’s released (it already works like that for live/pattern/step/automation buttons)
Alternatively, it could be an option that allows one column of the grid to be always be decidated to the transposition track, but it’s probably way more annoying to implement.
In an ideal world it would be absolutely amazing to be able to split the grid between two tracks, so you could for instance play chords on one track and a melody on the other at the same time, but yeah, that’s probably a hell to implement.
