It would be great to have the option to clone the display from the Hermod+ onto an external monitor. The screen on the Hermod+ is functional, but being able to make it much larger would be awesome. The new Reliq sequencer has a display the size of an iPad, and the Nerdseq sequencer already has a dedicated module to clone the screen onto an external monitor via HDMI.
I’ve seen the Nerdseq in action, and being able to use the sequencer with an external monitor is a game changer! Perhaps this is something which could be added to the upcoming Hapax/XP32 compatibility expansion module.

Yes. I have a hard time dealing with small and tiny screens like the one on my Solar 42 which is obnoxiously small. Its no problem if your 18-25 with 20/20 vision. But for older peeps peering at these screens is a chore and significantly reduces the enjoyment of using the instrument. I have a dreadbox Typhon. I know its a great little synth but I cant use it because of the screen and to a degree the clumsy operating of it.
I would go a step further and request the same for the hapax. I come from a background I’ve always had a screen going back to the Atari and then Daws. The later though has way to much eye candy and is very distracting. This wasn’t the case with the Atari. No eye candy, just a super functional midi sequencer with a great view and the screens lack of eye candy didn’t draw you in and distract from making music
Im very good with Ableton/Cubase/pro tools, but with the Hapax Im a dundering clumsy idiot. I would get on 10X faster with the hapax if there was a monitor out option. Maybe squarp could consider such a move with Hapax2 
. Adding a display out would also bring them a lot of people who do want to leave the Daw but cant deal with small screens
And in saying that Im well aware the hapax is one of the better ones out there in terms of screen real estate and it was the main reason I went for it rather than the competition + also its super tight timing and the built in midi FX + CV clock sync ability. It is a very excellent hardware sequencer and for me a monitor out option would make it even more awesome

Many of us want monitor out options with some gear such as excellent sequencers like the Hapax. Remember Rolands MV8000. Aside from its crap timing which killed that machine imo its monitor out transformed it in to a power house on speed. You didnt have to use it and it was easy enough to use without it as the built in screen is large-ish
