what do people think of this idea? it would keep you from needing to automate all parameters of an FX and make states easily recallable or even act as presets? it would need to be per FX i suppose but also snapshots for the entire set of FX might be nice too.

Does Snapshot not capture/restore the FX currently? Or are you asking for ability to save/load snapshots?
gosh im not using snapshots yet i guess? does it already exist? i think it wouldnt be appropriate for every FX. but if it already exists, my apologies. yes save/recall with automation
ah yes snapshot exists but doesnt seem to do what im asking for here
also i tend to write changes to the pattern like program changes or cc. i assume thats why most buy hapax
