Totally agree that the chord mode in its current state feels uninspiring. Would love to see a chord memorizer and improved ARP, similar to what the Cthulhu VST from Xfer has.

Would love to have a few pads on the “right / top side” of chord mode to play the notes that are in the chords, or some way to play the chords (easy) in the live mode.
This is how stuff like the “theoryboard” does it, you play the chord with 1 button on your left hand, while you can jam out notes in the scale/chord with the right hand 
Suggested as feature last year but If i remember it was not wanted

I’m not sure what Squarp has in store for an improved Chord Mode but this sounds like a good use of the unused space if there isn’t already plans for it.
have feature requested previously but felt like a natural spot to be able to input one-button custom chords a la the feature in Pyramid’s live mode where you could make one of the eight assignable pads any chord from an external keyboard
