External midi controler issues, need help

Hi

I am using an external midi controller in order tu mute and unmute tracks. As the manual says it is possible in two ways, with cc messages and also with notes.

With CC messages I can mute and unmute tracks when the sequencer isn’t running, once I push play on pyramid that control doesn’t work anymore until I press stop.

I also tried with Notes , as the manual says if I want to mute tr01a, I should push note C2

I set midi channel 1 as listen channel to control pyramid.

What I am doing wrong ?
