Can you launch patterns on the hapax via a external controller or other

Hi , Anyone know if its possible to launch a hapax pattern via midi cc or other from another controler or other? Or the opposite way around … i saw someone running a sequence [different device] . And They had a pattern / track playing that also sent a cc message to another sequencer to tell it to start playing an audio loop… quite a cool way of doing things. Is this possible with hapax …either way around
