Expert Sleepers FH-2 Default config mapping

so this is not mine but i have been able to use it and i think it belongs here. i can only get it to work with the module its self, and no expanders so far but i could be doing something wrong in the config dialog. but its working great for the main module direct control. my cv outs are jumping around very expertly from hapax’s internal LFOs and ENVs etc. im in love!

Did you program your expanders via the configuration tool to respond to those CC messages?

https://www.expert-sleepers.co.uk/webapps/fh2_config_tool_1.18.html

I highly recommend setting up the FH-2 so that each voice has its own channel. That way, you can program the individual modulation channels within that voice’s own track – this is very useful for precise programming of CC automation.

im getting the hang of it but i wont be using it to trigger voices, mostly to add modulations to the eurorack filters and such.

This was one of my instrument definitions I was working on while setting up the fh-2 for the hapax, posted on a help thread, my config has changed some but I think people can work backwards if they want to try it.

This one allows direct outs and LFO mixing on the fh-2, voices and gates on a gate and cv expander, direct outs on two other expanders, and some gate outs. Or run gates for drums using my note map.

It’s a general setup that can work with your voices on certain outs and modulations on other outs. I have since worked in envelopes and was starting to toy with Euclidean but hadn’t finished.

I was trying to have an instrument definition that would generally work with a few different fh-2 configurations so i wouldn’t be editing a bunch of definitions all the time. But the configurations is pretty custom
