Drum Track Confusion

I just set up a Drum Track to trigger my Digitone (1 channel per Track, each track outputs note 60).
Sequencing from Step Mode works as expected. But in Live mode, every square triggers the Cowbell voice (n60 ch8), why is it so ?
Here is the setup for Track 2 for instance :

And in live mode :

I can’t remember exactly how I set mine up, but I think you might need to set those C5’s down to C0 or C1

Well, I don’t see why, since I need to send note 60.

How are your Channels setup in the Digitone midi config?
Is the Cowbell voice the active track in Digitone?

Sounds like it could be something related to the Auto Channel and the Midi Notes implementation.

It’s properly configured 1 track per channel in the DN, but it’s not about the DN, it’s on the Hapax.
Even with the DN disconnected, if I trigger the 8 “Pads” of the Live Mode, they all light up the 8th voice (named “cowbell” on the Hapax by default).

yeah pretty sure you need to change the c5. had some issues incorporating the dt2 in drum track mode and was something similar - thought it might be something with dt2 that they have to update but i got it working

C5 is the note I need to send so the drum sounds are at the right pitch.
As I said, there is a problem even with no other machine connected.
Should I make a video ?

It’s a bug with live drum mode , I reported it a few weeks back , waiting on a fix atm

Ah, thanks for confirming !
Do you think it’s worth re-sending them a bug report ?

No harm in it , might speed it up

Yeh send it in… I also sent one yesterday. It’s very annoying if you care about pitched percussion!
