Fair warning, I haven’t tested this yet, I modeled it after the VirusB and Digitone files. I get my Pyramid in this monday (1/17/2022) as well as my nymphes.
The Nymphes by default doesn’t accept CCs. You need to enable it by going to menu item 7, press Shift, then go to item 5, then move the LFO rate slider up to maximum. Then press save.
Ah… thanks @Loz. For anyone else reading this, i was thrown off a bit. it’s as he says, but “saving” in this instance is then tapping the menu button to acknowledge and exit. Tapping the “save” button won’t save your settings.
A piece of interplay that I haven’t quite figured out yet: There are CC listings in pyramid that don’t exist explicitly here in the file. (Notably Program Change.)
I will revisit this sometime in the future when I have the equipment/software to tap the network comms and can understand this a little better.
By the way, I’m not sure of what the etiquette is here. I realized now that many of these names are too long for the Squarp’s field. Should I submit an amended file or should I just let the community make their own changes based on this one?
OP is now only valid for Firmware version 1.0 of the Nymphes. Also: I didn’t abbreviate the names figuring this was something that would be best tailored to your own memory intricacies. If someone doesn’t beat me to it, I should have the Firmware 2.0 list finished this weekend.
NOTE: I don’t immediately plan on automating any of the mod source destinations at this time. I didn’t attempt to abbreviate any of these for that reason, because it becomes really hard to translate something like “Mod Source LPF Cutoff LFO Depth Depth” into 8 characters. if someone comes up with a good system to do this, I’m all ears. (Best I can come up with is first letter of each term, but that reads like garbage to me. “MSLCLDD”)
Just an FYI: The Nymphes V2 firmware upgrade will knock out your settings. It forgot my MIDI channel settings, as well as my CC settings, which just made me waste 3hrs troubleshooting. :-/
