Difference midi B out and midi A? sync?

Hi all!

when looking at the pyramid from the front, the icon for midi B out, has ‘+sync’ next to it.
what is meant by this, and why doesn’t midi A have this? Can’t find it in the manual…

The sync means the port can do both midi and analogue dinsync.
Keep in mind you need a special breakout cable when using old Roland gear, as they have extra functionality on the pins that are used for midi. Other dinsync devices should be fine

thanks! luckily I don’t need that as all my devices have regular midi ports.
