Definition Instrument

Hello everyone

I copied the instrument definition elements of the Minilogue XD into my word to save it as a .txt file.

I then placed this file in the Hapax folder of the SD card.

My minilogue is well configured on my track 5.

When I apply an LFO on this track with a CC search I cannot find the elements of the definition file.

Did I miss a step? I saw that the font of the file must be UTF-8, I do not have this font on Word.

Thank you for your feedback, have a good evening

are you using mac or pc

For anything code or script related, it’s always better to use a simple editor. If you want something, that you already have, use the Editor on Windows or try TextEdit on Mac, depending on your system. If you’re up for installing something I’d recommend Notepad++ or Visual Studio Code. You’re going to have a much better time than trying to do this sort of thing with Word.

Edit: for this sort of questions it’s recommended to post the definition text, so we can actually see, what you did and give you more helpful advice

I tried in a first time with text edit, i’m on mac, but not possible to save with .txt extend with this application.

That i don’t understand is there is something to do after copy the file on the sd card ?

thanks

That’s it, I found it.

I went to the textedit settings to validate the recording in .txt

And then above all, I went to the track to activate the instrument def file that I had not loaded.

Thanks for your feedback
