really appreciate both yr thorough responses.
memory was something i completely overlooked. however, according to the info, the memory is still more than 60% full.
i tried starting a new project and all the copy/paste functions work including pattern and track copy.
i looked into an events copy/paste buffer limit like pmatilai said but not sure as i still can’t copy/paste empty patterns in this project. i guess its a bug.

I’m having the same issue, and have replicated it. It’s quite a big thing not being able to copy patterns after you have made just 4 or 5. I also managed to get a fatal error occur at one point tying make it work!
If it’s not out if memory (check the info screen) then a reboot will clear the situation. I’d be a little wary of saving a project in that state because something’s not right. Of course you can always save to another name so you’ll have a backup to go to.
But if you can replicate and it’s not out of memory, do report to Squarp!
