There was a similar question 5 years ago. But it still didnt clear my confusion. The bump on the power cable allows it to fit only one way and such that the red strip is not alligned with the -12V. I got advice from someone that the -12V you see near the connector are not related to the connector but to the row of soldered pins next to it. Currently I have it connected with the red strip at the top on the module side and bottom (-12 V) on the rack side. (To be fair, there is no other way of connecting it). Can someone confirm if that is the right way. TIA. Similar to the original author I am building my first rack and taking extra precaution not to fry the module.
I can confirm it, have my Rample connected in the same way.
Its the only way to connect it.
