Hello, what are my options to connect HAPAX to Squid Salmple. I mostly use the sampler for one shots and drums. Will use the hapax in drum mode.
I use an ALM mmMidi and mmT to connect to my Assimil8or, which has 8 trigger inputs, just like the Squid. (Which I used to own.) I’m quite happy with it.
I’m a bit of an ALM fanboy.
Hexinverter Mutant Brain is a good option. It’s got 12 trigger and 4 CV channels which is more than enough to drive the squid. It takes a little effort to program it via sysex but once you are done
