Hello,
I’ve got a Keystep 37 keyboard coming and I’m trying to work out how to connect it to the Hapax. Can I use the USB port on the Hapax to power they keyboard and send MIDI out or should I use the Keysteps external power and use a MIDI on both?
I’ve already using A, B and C on the Hapax, but I think I can use the D cv port?

yup usb port should work just fine. no problem. plug and go after configuring the midi in to usb
Trying to do this now with the same Keystep. I have its USB going into the hapax and it is powering on. But when I play keys I do not see anything in the live view and I don’t hear notes getting triggered. I have the Keystep Channel set to 1. The Hapax tracks are set to Input - all. MIDI in is all set to accept. I have messed with active track port set to different settings and nothing works. Any ideas?
Quick update, it works now. I have no idea what I did besides plug it in a bunch of times. Suddenly the Hapax said it recognized the USB and now it works. Hopefully it will be stable.
