Clock out ableton cv in

hello I can’t synchronize the hapax with ableton. I use the cv tools cv clock output on an ableton track and send the signal from
my sound card output to cv in (hapax)
I set the hapax to clock cv 1 input and transport cv 1 and click dv to 8 ppqn nothing happens I tried with different ppqn settings
I have to fix something wrong
Can someone help me ?

try sending your square wave to the hapax cv in at 64th note intervals and set it in the sync settings. also make sure you have the output close to 0db, then back off a tiny bit. also make sure your soundcard audio outputs are ‘dc coupled’. this must be the case for it to work. but ive never tried a non dc coupled interface.

if it wont work with cv tools, just send a square wave sample to the same output. it wont matter if cv tools is not involved. i KNOW a square wave sample with a positive leading edge WILL work. i dont use the cv tools in ableton tho. i own suite but i use reaper a lot more. works there too. i just use reapers stock sample player to send the square wave sample 64 times each measure and it works.

Thank you !
I succeeded the problem came from my non DC coupled Focusrite sound card
I tried with an old PreSonus sound card and it worked straight away.
