Can’t seem to find an answer for this on here so here goes.
I want to find a way to have an LFO do some classic 80s style pitch modulation on synths from the Hapax CV outs. When I use the matrix to control the depth on a LFO in an effects slot it doesn’t work as the LFO doesn’t track with the keyboard so everytime you use the modwheel it’s just the same pitch being modulated.
Has anyone managed to get this working in a normal way?
According to the manual, Keytracking is a modulation source. You may be able to map that to the LFO Offset in the ModMatrix.
I’m not at home currently, so can’t test it.
Yep, I tried that just after posting this as I hadn’t thought of it. Didn’t seem to work very well!
Hmm… Can’t think of another way… Maybe suggest a feature to Squarp via their contact form, so they might implement it as a dedicated feature?
Hopefully they will implement a Mono track type, where this will be one of its unique features, along with glide time / legato glide, etc.
