Chord Memory Vs Chord Mode

I’m just diving into this forum as I’m considering purchasing a Pyramid as my main sequencer. I have watched a number of videos on the custom chords and chord modes, but I haven’t seen it operate like Chord Memory does on a standard synth or midi controller. Can you play a chord and play that chord (or intervals) across a keyboard, rather than programming specific chords into custom memories? Thanks!

Welcome to the forum!

By using the harmonizer midi effect you can achieve the same thing as chord memory, although it isn’t just a case of holding down the notes, but using the encoders to set the intervals.

Thanks for this! I think that would work just fine for me. I like that sound for more Detroit House style tunes and I never realized how much I used chord memory. Thanks again, hopefully I’ll get my hands on a Pyramid soon enough.
