Can't play with external keyboard when track is muted

My Hermod+ just arrived. I already have the previous Hermod and used the USB Host port to connect a Keystep 37. Worked perfectly. Im always using fixed MIDI channels for each track so I can quickly change what I want to play by changing the MIDI channel on the Keystep. So, it was always independent of the currently active track and it’s mute state. Now, the Track needs to be unmuted (and plays the sequencer) to transmit the played notes to CV/Gate. Is there a workaround I’ve overseen? Anybody else this issue? Thanks…

I thought about Midi tru - this was not working before 1.0.1d

No, controlling CV/Gate with an external device is not possible when the track is muted. For me, this is a mandatory function and worked with the „old“ hermod…
