Grok and Perplexity keep telling me I can have chords on one side of the Hapax grid, single notes on another side. And then they give me a lot of details that don’t seem to ring true, but I haven’t sat down at the Hapax to try.
Is this true? If so, it doesn’t seem to be documented anywhere on the manual.
Thanks.

Not quite sure what you’re asking. If you’re asking if the Hapax can have both chords and single notes in a single united sequence, then yes. But that’s nothing revolutionary, so I assume that what you’re asking is if the Hapax can have chords on one side of the grid and single notes on the other and it’s possible to play both simultaneously (either as a sequence or playing the notes live). If that’s the question, then no, Hapax cannot do that in it’s current iteration. At least, not as far as I’m aware of.
always question LLMs, they are largely useless
Yeah, I’m asking if I can “play” in Live mode using chords on one side of the grid, and single notes on the other side. Same view, and supporting simulaneous chord and single note/ melody playing.
And, yes, LLMs hallucinate for sure. But it’s weird to have two of them hallucinating the same way.

I’d really like to see a split grid/keyboard feature added to accommodate this.
