Im assuming this is a bug as i cannot think if one reason why the note length should change with zoom.
If i have set default note length to 8 beats / steps then i want the default length to be 8 beats steps regardless of the zoom level.
Yes visually you have to squash it in the sequencer but the actual musical note length should not change. This is very annoying. Making extra work to keep manually changing note length to fit zoom . Very stupid.
Also if using time signatures like 3/4 6/8 etc note lengths get totally broken when zooming.
Please fix. Default note length should not change when zooming.
