Best way to change divisions

There has been some conversation about the way the Hapax handles divisions. It’s a bit detailed and I tried my best to explain the logic behind it in this post:

When I started this thread, I had no idea that it would get this much feedback. At the time, I missed the ability that I had on the Oxi One to not only run discrete divisions per track, but to also change from one division to another after recording. Considering that there has been a lot of support for this feature, perhaps this is something that can be amended in a future update. But that remains to be seen.

Speaking for myself, I would only want them to add this feature if they could also continue to keep sequences “division agnostic” as I outline in the post I linked. I’m not sure if that’s possible, but I’m not a programmer. So maybe there’s a solution I’m unaware of.
