Note this is about calibration– not tuning.
Obviously it’s easier with an external MIDI controller. MIDI from the controller into Hermod+, set Hermod+ to tuner, adjust note octave on the controller.
Without a controller… I’ve been doing this by setting a constant A4 to loop on a note track, then in the effects, I set up a bunch of Scale effects with transpose set to + or - 12 semitones. I toggle those on and off to change the octave, and then jump back and forth to the tuner in the settings to check the frequency.
How do you do it? Do you know of a better way?
